I haven't been here in awhile... How are ya'll doin?
Yeah, I said 'ya'll.' Guess why... I MOVED to the SOUTH. It's pretty weird down here. I miss the cold and liberal attitudes in the North... Southern hospitality only goes so far when you're mostly democratic and don't believe in god... BUT, everything is cheaper here, I got a great job, and I just bought a house with the boyfriend, so I'd say things are going pretty well.
I've also got not one, not two, but THREE kitties now--Vixen, my first little baby, Percival, who I thought was a girl when I first got him (original name was Marixa), and Huashan, who was found running across the street in Chinatown, Chicago. Vixen and Huashan are both torties (Vixen is a dilute tortie), and I think Percival is Siamese or Burmese or something of that nature--hard to say when he was born to two alley cats! They're doing well, and they LOVE the new house.
Anyway... otherwise things are pretty boring. I'm trying to write a book, and feel like I'm failing pretty miserably. It's hard work. I'm about 20 chapters in, but I hit a wall and just keep going back and editing, editing, editing...
Did I miss anything new and exiting here? Other than this crazy layout change...?
