my problem with music is that i like almost everything - and when i say everything, i mean EVERYTHING. and unless i've bought the album and listened to it fifty million times, i will never remember song names and half the time artist names, either. i can recognize it and sing it - or at least fake singing it pretty damned good, but i won't be able to classify it in any worthwhile way other than genre (thank my classical vocal training for that)
bag pipes playing amazing grace - that reminds me of the first time i saw seven nations live and the guy they hired for light and sound got me back stage (he worked at my high school) so when i mentioned how much i loved that song, i got to crowd surf the first time they played it and my friends and i got them to play it 6 times more for their encore (7's my number)
