We took the weekend off to go to the beach! Some of Steph's friends rode with us and a few of my friends showed up too. I borrowed a modded Wii so we could play Wii Sports Resort and Tatsunoko Vs Capcom early, lots of fun. Swordfighting rocks!

On the way down, we stopped at a gas station and a bunch of screaming girls on their way to a bachelorette party showed up right after us. The girl in charge of the group asked Stephanie if she could touch my hair and then she proceeded to grope my head. Very strange.

The water behind the house is very shallow, you can probably wade out 30 yards or so without getting wet above your knees, so we chased each other around in that for awhile until we were exhausted. One guy saw a stingray, so maybe it's good that we got out when we did.

Saturday night we had a great dinner. Calamari appetizer, french bread with a roasted garlic parmesan dipping sauce, eggplant over pasta with crabmeat, perfectly grilled mahi mahi with lumps of lobster on top and grilled vegetables on the side, and tiramisu for dessert. I was stuffed to bursting, but it depleted our food budget for probably the next month. We'll be having ramen for awhile.

That night, we stayed up late drawing horribly juvenile things for each other in pictochat on our DSes. It's kind of a relief to know that even after turning 30, you can still make anything funny by drawing a penis on it.

Now that we're back, I'm totally worn out and sleep deprived. I can't stop playing Sports Resort long enough to rest though.
