I'm one of those guys who works hard and plays hard. The time I set aside to have a life is very important to me. I cherish it cuz I work my ass off to get the obligatory shit out of the way so I can enjoy it. I have a kickass time, carefree with no worries, cuz I make it that way.
So I really really REALLY hate people wasting my time. If you want to do something Tuesday and I'm up for it, I will say no to other invites to do stuff on that day. So if you flake or whatever, I'm left knowing that I turned down fun so I could stay home cuz my plans were canceled.
Because I know how annoyed I get about this I get kinda snobbish with people wanting to hang out. If you wanna hang out that's great, give me a time and a place or fuck off. I don't like having my small amount of personal time wasted.
Needless to say I never really respond to flakyness well. A canceled date is almost never rescheduled. Cuz if you flaked once I'm not going to turn away someone else to give you another chance. You blew it. And now someone else who values the chance the chance you squandered is now enjoying the fun you hoped you'd be having with me. I'm sure in High School batting your eyelashes and tossing out hugs got you away with a lot. But in the real world your just using the same tricks every other girl knows. It's become old hat.
And with friends I'm twice as ruthless. We have a webpage. On it is a calendar we all use. We post things like "I will be in Worchester to see Sasquatch." Everyone can read it. So calling to see what someone is doing that night is redundant. Complaining you couldnt make it and explaining yourself to me isnt gonna go well. Your an adult, you have a car, you wanna go? GO. We're still friends but it's your own fault I had fun Saturday and you didnt. Those that came had a great time.
Ok enuff ranting.
A band called the COBRAMATICS opened for Sasquatch Saturday at .......I wanna say Ralph's Diner. Never been there before. They show burlesque porn the whole night on a bigscreen behind the band. I was in my element. COBRAMATICS were really good. Great frontman. Lotta energy. I recomend.
I'm shaving my rustic beard off. I decided to go a day with out shaving......5 days in a row. Got another interview so I gotta look good for it.

The Cobramatics are great. I love the colonel! I saw them thie summer with the lovely ladies from "Through The Keyhole Burlesque" at the Abbey Lounge in Cambridge. It would have been a better show had it been in a different venue. There was really no good place for the ladies to dance. You should check them out sometime if you are interested in burlesque.
