Ok so there is a downside to not wanting a relationship with someone and just wanting to casually hang out. You tend to attract girls who only want to hang out. So when the occasion comes when you wanna step outside yourself and do something...memorable, you have no one to do it with. Today it would have been nice to dress up and wine and dine with a beautiful woman. Have some serious class for an evening. I haven't done that in a while. Were there girls to do that with? Yes, and no. The women in my life now haven't been in that category. To suddenly do something romantic would have been awkward. Especially for only one night.

So I was valentineless. The folly of solidarity. What's the next holiday? Patty's day. Nope. Easter? Nope. I guess I might be willing to get mushy around summer. But fate doesn't ask for an appointment. It does things when it's willin. Hell if you're ready, Hell if you're waiting.
