Guess who gets to go on the roof tomorrow morning to plug up holes trained roofers cant seem to accomplish? 
That'd be me.
Apparently we hired a J&J roofers last summer to roof our resturaunt. My boss should have known something was fishy when they said it'd only take a day. According to heresay they were throwing shingles off the roof onto the employees cars and never thought to ask for them to be moved. So six months later we have almost a dozen leaks and the celing in the mens room caved in onto a customer. Also an affiliated resturaunt who we also had them do is experiencing the same problems. So we've hired D&R who strikes me as an honest guy. Coming from me that's something. We are also sueing the BeJesus out of Jackoff &Jackoff. Unfortunatly however D&R cant start work until we get some coorporate BS redtape done. It's an insurance thing. Leaving us with leaks to temporarily fix.
Will the managers do it. Nope. How bout the male part timers. Nope. So who else is there? How bout that guy we hired who new how to fix that electrical problem last month?
I should have never let it leak that I actually have a brain in my head. Now that they know I can tell the difference between an $8 stapler and a $30 staple gun I'm the resident handy man. And am I gonna get paid more? Nope. This is gonna be like my last job I can just feel it.
The sucky thing is one of the ........ *confused* 3 things on the planet that actually makes me uncomfortable has to do with roofing. Yet being me I'm gonna have to do it anyways.
Lucky me.
Also Saturday is Fungus Amungus' record release party.
It's at The Call in Providence. Tickets sell at 9:30 pm and are $6 with a canned good. All are invited. So be there. So help me if I hear one of you complain how boring their weekends were and how they wish SG.com had some events for RI.
