I'm not really down. More like concerned. It seems in my life, the holidays are a time when people start to give me reasons to worry bout them. And eventually you look in the mirror and ask, " what about me? When's it my turn?" I'd like a distraction from that.
This song is about that lack of a something. You can sometimes have everything and still lack that "spark". I realize that this is the umpteenth time I've mentioned the "spark". But I'm a firm believer in it. When something shows up in your life no matter how it appears, and has that wow factor, you should make it a point to persue it. If you meet someone online who wows you, make an effort to get to know them. If that ONE girl who is insanly...different shows up, ASK her her fucking name and say hi. Cuz the next girl who is twice as hot is a waste if she doesnt give u that spark. I'm just startin to wish someone viewed me that way, and made it a point to not let me just walk on by. Even guys like to feel pursued everyonce in a while I guess. Sorry vanity is kicking in, startin to think I can demand things lol.
