So I've been trying out Arch Linux on my main machine (laptop) for the past week (was running Gentoo previously) and I have to say I'm pretty impressed! Things "Just Work" (TM) and I have had to spend *very* little time trying to tweak things. This might be a happy medium between Gentoo (source, can customize everything) and Debian/Ubuntu (binary, preloaded configs). I'll continue with it as my main OS for a while, but so far I'm liking it!
