I assume if time travel into the past was possible I would have visited myself by now!

Does that seem like a reasonable thought? Because my ADD brain immediately thought of other reasons why I may not have visited myself: legal restrictions (laws against it), impracticality (maybe I can't be in the same "space" as my past self), I remember "then" and why would I want to revisit it?, or perhaps my past (current) self is too uninteresting/dumb to visit... list goes on!

...or perhaps it is mathematically, scientifically, physically impossible to prove and traveling into the future is the only real option (hello gravity well!)
