I get that the young people out there may need to be reminded that loud sounds will damage their hearing. However, for those of us that are old and have damaged our hearing from various activities such as listening to loud music, awesome concerts (Walk Off the Earth in Seattle was my most recent), firearms, chainsaws, tractors, fireworks, homemade explosives, motors without mufflers, high power/speed drills, construction equipment (run a screening plant for 12 hours straight and tell me you didn't lose some hearing!), blah, blah, blah, et cetera, et cetera, go fuck yourself! For those that root their phones/devices this can be disabled. That's cool. What I want is a system-wide feature "I'm old and half deaf, just do what I tell you!" so I don't have to waste so much of my life making things work the way I want - no, retract that, the way they should work!
Is that just too much to ask for?
I'll quit hacking when I die, but sometimes I like to spend time hacking things I find interesting/cool instead of getting things to work the way they SHOULD!!!
