If the infinite monkey theorem (1000 monkeys with 1000 typewriters...) is true, then wouldn't that be enough reason for patents, particularly software, DNA, algorithms, etc. patents to be unacceptable?
Or how about the scripts that they now have in the computer science department that checks a student's source code against classmates - both present and all previous classes? Wouldn't there eventually be a student that recreated a past program with enough similarity to trigger a false-positive?
