What the hell is the deal with this new show Terra Nova?

The basic premise sounds interesting but they created way too many problems, fake science, contradictions, bullshit situations, and what fucking idiot started naming the dinosaurs? They do have real names!

The dad character doesn't seem rough enough for having spent the last 2 years in prison. Keep in mind he thought he was going to spend 80 years there - or in other words he was going to die there. He seems more like he was away from his family for a month or so on a work trip. WTF?

The commander character was wishy-washy: he kept bouncing between being a (para)military commander (which was fine) and being a friendly boss that wants to help everyone (which was annoying).

I didn't realize how annoyed I was with the show until I got to the scene with the kids in the armored vehicle: I was cheering the fake dinosaurs on to kill them!



Oh wait! I know what the problem is!! It's on Fox!!! The network that canceled Family Guy like 3 times as well as John Doe, Brisco County Jr., Terminator, Futurama, Firefly, etc. so that they could replace them with (cheaply made) stupid reality TV shows... mad
