My Interactive Fiction game is coming along fairly well.. especially since I had never heard of Inform 7 before taking this class.
So far the only real problem I am having with my game is with a piece of scenery. I created a cabinet and put a message in it. When the player enters the room the cabinet is not visible, yet you can still interact with it blindly. The message is not there at all though. Not sure what is going on and I used the example from the manual almost verbatim.
Once the player gets the message the game is over so I kind of need to figure this out before the game is due tomorrow...
Interactive Fiction is a nice change of pace from writing 2D and 3D games and if I had free time (lol what's that?) I might consider writing another one.
