So I'm still working (in between everything else) on that laptop from the auto collision place and so far I'm not finding any malware or anything that seems obvious, but the cpu bounces between 80-100% when (otherwise) idle. Taskmanager isn't really showing what process is consuming the cpu time so I'm gonna locate and download process explorer (if it's still around) and try that. I'm wondering if taskmanager is either not able to see the process (virus) or something else is going on.
