I finally got the financial aid people to consider me, but only after filling out a mountain of paperwork, petitions, and going to meetings. As of this morning my student account (online) says an award letter was mailed yesterday and that I have to sign it and turn it in. It wasn't in today's mail, so here I wait and hope that it arrives on Monday because class starts on Tuesday! So this might be interesting..
The downside is that all they could offer me for summer is a loan (no grants) because summer is considered part of last year and I didn't apply for financial aid last year, but that's better than nothing. I also have to take more credits then I had originally planned to during the summer (keep in mind summer is shorter than a regular quarter) which will make things hard/interesting.
Until I see the money in my student account, I guess I'll just keep holding my breath.......

Well, all in all I suppose that went pretty well! I will wait to congratulate you, though. I know how rough all the juggling school requires can be, but I believe it can be done with patience and determination. You clearly have both. I"m sure you're going to do great, and that the money will come sooner than later. Good luck! :-)
