K. Life is a little back to normal now. This weekend I'm looking forward to a "Party of the Cousins" this Saturday. So I'll be heading out to the Coast (Vancouver area) for that.
We're having one of the driest summers on record. Wildfires all over the province. You know what 2 assholes do? They deliberately light a grass fire just at the edge of a neighborhood near where I live! Fortunately they caught it and got it out before it did any real damage, but JESUS!! Fortunately, they caught the bastards. I think for this kind of crime, they should bring back the Stocks and string 'em up in the town square for 24 hours...
...with no protection from the public...
Any rate, they've been charged with arson. I'd love to know what the motive was.
Friday is The Tragically Hip in Penticton!! Woohoo!! I'll get some pics to add to the blog.
Tomorrow: a day off!
I'll upload a video of my head getting shaved June. I raised $1175 for cancer and donated the hair to a cancer victim for a wig.
In the meantime, a funky tea pot I gave mom for mother's day:
