FINALLY!!! i get to go to the lake for some wakeboarding............. man i am super pumped not only did i get the house i wanted, but they didn't fight the offer...... and now a weekend on the lake. life can't get much better....

Came to your comment via Becca's above! Cambridge is beautiful. My wife and I come down for the folk festival each year. If you get a moment, do get into the city, hire a punt and spend a sunny day on the river down the backs of the colleges. It's heaven. Not quite the same as wakeboarding, but good hard work against the current all the same!

End of July/beginning of August. But it sells out really quickly (I mean within hours), for the full weekend pass. You can usually get day tickets for some time afterwards, plus cancellations. It's all very civilised though. Lots of people in deckchairs reading newspapers in the sun! But it's great. Some real classic US acts are always on too. Joan Baez was amazing a couple of years ago. Buffy Sainte-Marie and Lucinda Williams this year.
