Hey everyone,
I had a fun day in Boston today, I did some major shopping and got some groovy clothes and some new kicks. I also got a Thank you card for my mom, she has been awesome lately. Here it is....



I did not mention this because I think my mom will be reading this, because if she is, she would tell me to pray for my sins! She is great, and has been helping me out lately. I am going to use this card for another purpose. In a couple of weeks, it is going to be the 10th anniversary of the death of my best friend Sam. I feel like this a great place to say this.

I want to thank Sam for the wonderful three years we spent at my high school. A little back ground behind me, I went to this Methodist prep school in Arizona, (yes it was awful!!!) Sam, another friend of mine, and I were very different from the other kids in the school.

I want to thank Sam for being a wounderful friend, I really can't say that I have had many more. I want to think Sam for forming our band Vertco, we never really played, but I was on drums, he was the guitar player, and my other friend played bass. I want to thank Sam for getting me drunk before school one day, we downed a mini Jack Daniels, and the funny thing I had to lead morning prayers in Bible class that morning. I want to thank Sam for all the great memories in our soccer road trips. I want to thank Sam for wearing his pants too tight, and getting all those Christian girls excited, all of the jocks hated him. Thanks Sam, I know you are kicking ass where ever you are.

One thing that I have never told anyone before, but I want to say it now. I want to say I am sorry to Sam, for walking out in the middle of your funeral. I am sorry. Love you brother!
