greetings & salutations kids...i'm in relatively good spirits aside from the massive headache that seems impossible to truly shake lately....it comes & goes...right now, tis here indeed ....anyways....i'm stoked about a few things.....puppy bought our pitchfork music festival tickets the other day which means i'm guaranteed to see the above fantabulous group, along with dinosaur jr & jarvis cocker too

yesterday i had a pretty sweet day...after recoverin from some work madness as of late & sadly, havin to cancel my plans to six flags with the sgchicago group ...my puppy & i made a yummy quiche for brunch, which we had been wantin to do since we moved here but hadn't been able to find the time and/or all the proper ingredients...we did a lil improv & it turned out pretty tasty i think
then we headed to Lush for some of this...

which i swear by these days....it's fantastic i also picked up a new variety to try out & something to send my mommy too
then off we went to the container store where i injured myself on a plastic lid to a storage box lame, huh? but we picked up a pitcher for iced tea i plan to make soon & some tins for the abovementioned shampoos....
then onwards to trader joe's for some fun groceries & the parchedness sat in....so we hit up the local jamba juice.... we walked in the door & the manager with her new trainee immediately squeals....exclaims free jamba juice for me cuz i'm so cute! i think it was the bunny ears...or my striped pink knee high socks...or the awesome new shirt...

..why is there no bunny or puppy emoticons by the way?!?!?!
anyways....after the lovely free jamba juice....we headed home to put away groceries & pacify the nympho...then off to see speed racer in imax which was quite enjoyable thanks to the puppy & my candy stash...



and after all that.....it was more pacifyin the nympho & then lovely yummy sex coma time!

so in all...fantastic day...i needed a chill day to recover from the madness that was last week & prepare for the hideous schedule i have comin up for this week....
tonight we've tickets to see these guys...

which shall be fun indeed....

i've kinda given up on the girly...it may be that she has alot goin on right now...i dunno....but we had this great email conversation last week where we both admitted we liked each other....and since then, any effort to hang out has been either spoiled by miscommunication, other plans, or who knows what else....she hasn't responded to any of my emails all week so i'm doubtful about it all...maybe i'm just bein a pessimist on this one...

so i ramble when i should ready for work...at least today is a short day...but then again,i need the overtime.... ...oh wells....time away from work is better than time there even if i don't get paid...until next time kids....i leave you with this...
