So I purchased Alien Bees lights because I heard what great products and customer service they had. I loved my lights until I was doing a shoot a few weeks back with Levin, and the flash trigger died on me. I had to fire my on camera flash to trigger my lights, which needless to say, made the lighting look like crap. It would be great if I had backup for everything, but working on a small budget, I can't always buy two of everything. I have backup cameras, and my previous lights suck, so I don't like using them as backup.
Later I received an e-mail from Alien Bees stating that they had sent out defective flash triggers. Grrr. I wish I would have received the e-mail BEFORE the shoot!
