So, I'm on cookie baking duty for the family this year. My family is very big on tradition, and I love to bake, so my grandmother decided to hand down her apron and tins. While I adore baking, I am responsible for providing for the extended family, meaning I'm baking about 30 dozen cookies!!! Insanity.
I also braved the wilds of city shopping the other day. The clothing stores were the worst. They looked as if they been rioted, or like my bedroom when I was in junior high...hahaha. There were clothes strewn everywhere! The escalators weren't working in several places, and kids were running around wearing all sorts of stuff that they had found on the floor. Sooo glad to be done with all the shopping.
While I don't subscribe to all of what Christmas is about, I still find myself getting caught up in everything. The holiday season to me is really about just enjoying my family and friends, and a little festive drinking, and I truly have a good time almost every year. I hope everyone enjoys the season no matter what aspect of it the find most important! Merry Merry!
