I got my files back! 
It only took three entire days to scan my hard drive. But my Sims are still alive.
Huzzah!
(Also, I still have various web pages I was designing, school assignments, other various random boring crap... Such a lack of fun stuff on my computer!)

I used to live in South Bend... went to Penn High School for two years (survived is more like it). You look really familiar though. It's probably just the late hour and lack of sleep playing tricks with me, but you didn't happen to endure Penn, did you?
