I figured since we are weeks away from Halloween I would start watching some horror movies to get in the holiday spirit. So far, I'm off to a bit of a slow start. I just watched the Nightmare on Elm Street remake the other day, which I thought was pretty poor. I know I have a real fondness for the original from my teenage years, but seriously-can anyone improve on Robert Englund's Freddy Kreuger? I think not.
I then watched The Human Centipede last night, and I have to say I was a bit let down. After hearing how it is one of the grossest films ever made, I found it pretty restrained. The idea of it was much more disgusting than what you were actually shown. Oh well.
