Weird relationship crap going down, or so it seems. I know, like and hang out with several women at work. In the past few days they have told me bizarre things that their husbands/boyfriends have done
Monday started off with J telling me that her husband of less than a year texted (yes texted) her saying he thought they should call it quits and get a divorce. Note to self: never text a girlfriend or such that you want to break up, bad idea.
She is rightfully pissed off and not sure if they will ever reconcile.
Today, got an email from B. Over the weekend her boyfriend moved out. I asked if they were still dating and she didn't know (thats right, didn't know). She has been waiting for him to call as he promised the day that he moved out.
She is confused and hurt, not sure what will happen.
Also today, went for coffee with T, mentioned the weird relationship crap going on that I have heard of this week then she tells me to add her and her boyfriend to that list. She suffers from migraines and the last while has not had a break from them. Her boyfriend is convinced it is in her head and blames her.
Dunno the rest, dont want to.
I know that these are only one sided and as much as I like and respect J, B and T I dont know what they are like to date or live with. Ill hold judgment as much as possible however, what the hell is going on in this town. Is it because a slight hint of spring is in the air that the fellas are looking for new?
Being an older single dude, I don't get it. Maybe I don't want to. Their relationships, if they all want it to work it will, if not they can call it quits and move on, not really my problem. Ill be there to help out if needed but I don't fix people or even try anymore. Not gonna get sucked into the middle of nothing.
