It was cold and windy after work yesterday so we went to the conservatory instead.

As my usual custom I go out early in the morning to get the first light without remembering that it takes three hours from sunrise to come over the mountains into the cedar grove. By the time I got out to the grove there was still another hour before the sun would come and I had to decide if I should head back or stick it out. I ended up staying and hoping to get some decent light. 4-1-15
