They just work so hard! We've saved 4 in the last 2 days from the pouring rain, taken them inside to get them warm and dry before letting them buzz off. Beautiful photos as usual x

Thank you, there might be a few more later. Finding them in the morning while they're sleeping is the best. Sometimes they'll crawl onto my hand to warm up and take off later.
The wildfires going in Washington have really made it unreal this evening. With a brown cast to everything and the sun almost blocked out, things are rather eerie.

I snuck up on some people jumping into the creek and hacking on logs while out at Settler’s Grove today. They might have freaked out about seeing me because shortly after that they raced back to their vehicle and left long before I made it back to my car.
