It was very cold this morning, at least for here. Around 20°F so I bundled up accordingly including my heavier balaclava. For some reason people find this disturbing and think I’m some paramilitary psycho serial killer but the animals (except for deer) find me interesting and want to get closer. Case in point. Today’s run in with the moose. After she got over the strange creature on the other side of the creek, she got curious and started following me. Eventually she started making whining noises when I got out of sight and ran to catch up with me. We did this for about 20 minutes until I reached a point on the trail where she apparently didn’t want to keep going along and then went along her own business.
