I made a mistake today and to make up for it I did a little (more) retail therapy. After getting home, I needed some sunlight therapy and wanted to share with you a memory from the summer at one of my favorite places to hide from the world.

I’m looking at this picture and trying to remember where I took it and why then I notice and remember, this was where I startled another deer and we stared each other down for a few seconds before it went bounding away in the most adorable fashion 2-3-16

@soraleia I've been seeing moose at this place pretty regularly. Some people I know get them in their backyard even.
It was very cold this morning, at least for here. Around 20°F so I bundled up accordingly including my heavier balaclava. For some reason people find this disturbing and think I’m some paramilitary psycho serial killer but the animals (except for deer) find me interesting and want to get closer. Case in point.
