So I tried to locate a few lenses last Saturday, a 28mm f1.8, 50mm f1.4 and an 85mm f1.8 for the band shoot in T.O. and I managed to ge the 50 at a local shop but they had to order the 28 and 85. So I went around to some other shops, found one that could get the 85 in wayyy faster than the first place and I ordered it. They called today saying its in...but wait, it gets better!!!!! Everyone said they couldn't get the 28 in and even Canon said THEY were out of stock and didn't know when they'd get more in.

Ebay, my last hope, came through in spades!!!! Hells Yeah!

Got a used but supposedly mint (we shall see) 28 for half of retail including shipping!

I'm so fucking stoked!

I am currently trying to open a bag of Sun Dried Tomato and Balsamic Vinegar chips...fucker must be child proof!

Anyway, I went out to elora on my way back from Mississauga today to check the ice...bad news my friends...the ice might not make it much longer All the tubes are open at the top and the prognosis isn't good especially considering the rain were supposed to get in the next few days.

I'm hoping for a Miracle!
