Well, I just got back from my first practice with this new band I got into. and I kinda did not like it, they are all hard and everything, they sounds like Dillinger/Avenged Sevenfold.............and it was fun, but it just sounds like the same in every song. Enter with a guitar solo, and a bunch of Double Bass, and end with a guitar solo, or someone screaming. I could not rock out like I said I was I played alright I guess, pretty rusty since this is the fist time I have jammed with a band in almost 2 years. But back to the topic................I dont know if I want to be in their band, all sounds the same, too many bands are copying eachother and sounding the same, and I dont know..............I am more into melodic music, I like to Play bass riffs, dont get me wrong, I like fast picking, but I rather do bass rythem and lock in with the drummer, rather then copy the guitarist.................but thats just me, I guess I like hard music, but as for playing it...............I cant get into it, well maybe I just could not get into the band tonight. maybe I should quit bass and just play my acoustic, and just look toward school and my career goal in Radio.
Well its 12:22am on my clock and I am sitting here eating hoho's and drinking a slurpee wondering if I want to continue with the whole rock star dream?
