Oh my god! Just picked up the Plymouth. It was from a dealer in Andover, which is about an hour from home, so my other half drove us there in our mini cooper and follwed me on the cruise home. I've had lotus, porsche, jaguar, even a grotty old Ferarri for a bit, but nothing turns heads like this thing. Every car that passed on the motorway had people rubber necking it.

Plus I underestimated how fucking quick it is; stick the line lock on, engage first and watch the back end smoke away the rubber, just awsome! The scary bit is that it has had a new braking system fitted, which needs to bed in. Not a problem if it weren't for DRUMS ALL 'ROUND!!!!!!! I have to book braking about three weeks in advance. I had to start shedding speed one junction before my turn off! Still, it's wheels day next week (one day hot rod car show) and the first sunny (hopefully) guildford cruise of the year, plus American Car World (for whom I shoot every now and again) wants to run a monthly feature on it as a staff car. That means I get paid for doing work on it, and can use the magazines name for a bit of discount with suppliers....Wahay!
