Big decisions time; I'm building a studio. I've got a company to put up a large log cabin in the garden and I'm putting in lighting track, an infinity cove and a manfrotto roll management system. Should be sweet when its done. I only hope it gets well used by UK based SG's. Hopefully having a space I can control will make me more Lithium picnic than the Mogodon Barbecue I currently am!
Finally, I've got shot of the most sinister car I have ever owned, a '99 black Jaguar XJR. Loved it to bits when it was working but 11 months of large chunks of it going wrong and a couple of grands worth of legal action and the dealer has taken it back. But what to replace it with? I don't need anything sensible and I want something that's suitably 'me'. After looking at the noisiest car in the world (pr street '67 Camaro) which hurt to drive I'v e decided to build my own Hot rod. Iffy, given I can't change a plug without instructions. I've got a 1971 Mercedes 280 lined up which is going to be chopped channelled and pepped up with a small block chevy. Gangsta wheels and a nice interior should finish it off. Okay not very practical but I shoot for a ccouple of custom car mags in the uk, waddaya expect?!!!
