Okay, please tell me that my american colleagues are only the final series of 'Lost'. We are like five episodes into series one and nothing seems to be happening appart from characters deliberately holding back information or not doing stuff just to drag out the plot. It is the slowest thing I have ever seen (and I had a tortoise when I was a kid), slower and more drawn out than 24 (my GF and I were actually rooting for the bad guys in thesecond 24 - the only good bit was his daughter running in tight white tops) I actually went on line to search for spoilers so I wouldn't have to watch it anymore, only to find out that things start to really hot up around.......................SEASON FUCKING FOUR........AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRGGGHHHHH!!!!!! Will some one please ruin the whole thing for me off list so I can do something more interesting with my life.

I can't see anyone putting up with this for that long. I mean I actually watched all ofTwin peaks, it isn't that I need a car chase every two minutes, but this thing is about as entertaining as land of the giants. If I could just find out where the hatch goes, what the monster is and why the plane crashed then I'd be happy.

Actually there was a series called John Doe or something that ran for one or two series in the UK, and apparantly if you watched it closely there were enough clues to work out who the main character was. However, for all of us normals everything would be revealed in the next season.........WHICH NEVER CAME! So can someone please put me out of my misery on that one.
