Life got a little crazy for me and my friends. Lots of change, stress, and turmoil.
So me and my buddy hit the road to clear our minds and calm the spirit.
Tank of gas, 3 packs of cigarettes, half rack of beer, fat sack of weed, a bag of munchies and we were off. Hauling ass up highway 2 in his F-150 late at night with the windows rolled down and country music blaring on the radio. Turned off at money creek and went down an unpaved county road into the woods. Up near the top we found a clearing and parked the truck. Sat on the hood with the radio cranked up drinking beer, smoking weed, bullshittin' and watching the stars. Got far enough out that we could actually see the milky way. It was cool shit. Even got a little camp fire going.
Gave us a couple hours to not give a shit about what was going on in the mass of humanity below.
No bills, failed relationships, hard days at work, or any other kind of bullshit.
It was fun and long overdue.

SUMMER SAYS: "I always wonder if there are stars beyond all of these city lights, the dirt and the pollution. One day I'd love to escape the city and look up to a blanket of stars and feel the grass beneath my feet.. until then I guess I'll have to paint my own.
