I think the most used word today will be Vote, second only to "shit" when they hear the outcome of the election.

I sent my absentee ballot last week. I paid $28 for it overnight, so it better get there!*

I have spent the morning canning things, another set of carrots, and then some hot peppers.
I need to get some red ones, so the jar can be really colorful.

I am going to make some dry canned goods today. I hope everyone likes their homemade Christmas goodies this year.

What is one thing you really want for Christmas?

I haven't decided yet this year. There is a new Mario game out, so that looks good. But I heard that there might be a chance my sister and her baby would come out to visit me when my parents come out.
That would be my first Christmas with my family in 3 years, and it would be my first Christmas spent with my mom and dad and sister in 13 years, and of course my first Christmas in 22 years to spend with my Nephew as this is his first Christmas.
Granted it will be on the 27th of December, but it's still the same to me.
I would give up getting any gifts at all this year to spend the holidays with all 4 of them.
