Today is Thursday. You know what that means.
It is also CSI night, as well as POSSIBLY the night Ken Jennings is beat on Jeopardy. Supposedly he looses at the end of Oct, and there is only tomorrow & friday left of October Jeopardy shows.
I hate to wait for someone's downfall, but I really lost interest (and stopped watching) Jeopardy. It was no fun seeing everyone get wiped up by Smarty Pants McJennings.
Thursdays have become a "me" day. J is always gone for most (or all) of the evening. Which I don't really mind. In fact I think I am growing to like it.
I did ask if he would be coming home for dinner (just so I can go out guilt free if he's not) and he kind of gave me a wishy washy answer. So I am probably just going to throw caution to the wind and buy Taco Bell on the way home. Hopefully he won't be home waiting with dinner or anything.
I got my nails done. To make me feel less guilty about it, I cleaned the bathroom. The only thing I didn't do was mop (but I do that more frequently than a good cleaning, so its ok). I even went as far as to shine (with Windex) the fixtures. So the shower was gleaming today. I then dirtied it up by having a shower, and I will do that again tonight after class.
Its so nice out today. I walked & ran to the post office downtown. And I took the scenic route to and from the manicurists. There are orange leaves carpeting the city. I love fall. I wish I was born in fall. I want to get married in the fall under a umbrella of orange and firey reds.
***Upon further investigation it appears Ken will remain on Jeopardy atleast until Friday (probably longer). There are already results of tonights show online.
