had a fun day. had to move ten cu.yds. of screened loam up a flight of stairs. yup, a flight of stairs. 10 cu.yds = 10 to 12 tons = 20,000 to 24,000 lbs... me and two guys armed with only shovels. im not even tired, im in good shape for this early in the season....same shit tomorrow....fuck.
oh yeah...forgot to tell you guys...i fired my first employee this year. he is a violent bi-polar paranoid schizophrenic not on meds. i traded him in for a schizophrenic on meds with 28 felony arrests and a guy on parole who did three years in county lock up....these guys do exactly what i tell them to, no questions asked, and show me nothing but respect. so if you get a chance to hire a badseed, give em' a shot. you might be surprised.
