In late 2013, I was let go from my new job as Advertising Consultant for a local news stream website (week before Christmas to be exact). It couldn't have come at a worse time. I just bought my house earlier that year and had car trouble about 5 weeks before where I totally had to buy another vehicle. Thank god I had a fallback job. I had interned for Wyoming PBS while I was in College as camera operator and studio tech. So they let me jump on their political coverage crew for the Wyoming State Legislature. But that only supplemented my income. I had to take other PT work to make sure all the bills were paid and my pooches were fed. Long story short, I've taken part time jobs, doin everything from board op for radio, to butchering wild game for hunters. After a tough year in 2015, I've decided that this year is going to be my year for adventure. I learned some cool stuff late this year, and I think I want that to continue. I think I'll keep working as a freelance filmmaker but also work PT jobs where I can learn something useful. Any ideas? What's a skill you've always wanted to learn? Some job that I could learn the skill and then make some dough doin it. Maybe something that will allow me to continue my hiking, camping, and road trippin. What should be my next adventure?

There are increasing numbers of freelancing and online/work from home jobs.... Maybe something like that related to skills you already have?

I have looked into that. I've contracted to several shoots that have been in the region. Even filmed the Blackheart Burlesque show in Wyoming for the SG. I'd love to continue to do things like that. I'd love to film and photograph you lovely ladies for a living! But I think now I'm looking more for an adventure. Maybe a traveling cinematographer or like get on with a doc or news crew somewhere. Idk. Maybe I'm just indecisive.
