calamity

I'M BACK!

well.... back to SG--I'm stuck at home, packing and laundering and the like until Wednesday, when I shall (at long last) return to my fair city. my grimy, dirty, busy city. mmmmmm..... I simply cannot wait! it about time.

camp was great and all, but sometimes it's all too wholesome.... and I say this after claiming all summer that the summer camp I once knew as the epitome of virginal purity and innocence is actually a dark den of sin and debauchery--and quite possibly the highest concentration of rampant alcoholism you've ever seen amongst a group of twenty-somethings. anywho..... I had a great mother fuckin' time. and you can bet I'll be doing some travelling this year to visit all the crazy kids I met.... hopefully a UK tour in the winter.

in other news, the next time I update, it will probably be from my all shiny and brand-spankin' new iMac G5.... drool. I dropped my old iPod (first generation, baby--a.k.a., the spinny-wheeled TANK) in the toilet, but luckily I have a new one all boxed up and waiting for me. huzzah! it would have upset my otherwise.

so basically this summer I just dicked around and wasn't productive, which come to find has bitten me in the ass when I realize I have no money, no job, and not really any solid illustration or graphic design work to show for it.

....but I did knit a shitload of delightful winter accessories....

oh man. I am exhausted. I promise you a real update soon--I just wanted to let y'all know that I am back in black! I'm counting the hours 'til I can see all the SGNYers again.
