Sigh. I may never have time for a real update again.

⊕ I presented my mega-cosmetics project in my thesis class today. It was really intense, at a design firm in SoHo (just got back at 10). I have so many mixed feeling about graphic design and the design industry in general.... walking into an ultra-trendy firm like that at once excites my aesthetic senses and at the same time repulses me--I'm so scared to be stuck in a place with Diesel-jean wearing, sneaker-obsessed design douchebags for the rest of my life. Say it ain't so, grandma! Sometimes I feel like I have NOTHING in common with these people, besides the obsession with sex. Blegh.

⊕/⊗ So now I am finishing off my $5 bottle of water and slice of pizza (WTF, Manhattan! I hate you!) with a few PBRs. Proof positive....





⊕ Yes, I got all fancy for the presentation. Yes, I am a bleached-blonde--or will be for the next 24 hours or so, until we dye it red.

⊕ Went out with the SGNYers Saturday for a bit--I'd post pics, but I don't have any yet!

⊗ I'm so exhausted. No sleep because of this goddamned project. Grrrrrrrr.

⊕/⊗ Gotta try to see if the NEW bedframe they mailed me today actually has the ONE part they needed to send. I have a sinking feeling they sent me a while new frame with missing parts times TWO. I'm sick of sleeping on an air mattress on the ground.

⊕ I've been meditating pretty regularly. It helps.
