her advent calendar hasn't been updated since the 7th of december, and my last email from her was on the 6th of december...my friend leslie has passed away and my head is so full and so empty both at the same time. i'm calm and crying and happy that her life was as full as it was when she was here, and i'm already missing her and i can't find my keys anywhere...

she and i used to go back and forth with the emails, arguing about 'raunch' feminism and even tho i could never win her over ot my way of thinking, we agreed to disagree and carried on regardless. there is going to be a big hole where leslie always was - she gave me advice about everything from laundry to dating - and some of the things we shared have really influenced my life and will be with me forever.
