Sunday, fun day..or not.
Went to work today, second shift (and I was lattteee). It's Sunday so buses don't run before 9 and I had to be there at 8, therefore I had to cab it. The day itself wasn't awful, we unloaded about 4100 boxes in 8 hours. By the time I left I think there was still another 2300 or so to be unloaded by the later shift.
I got home (via another cab) at 4:45, and my girl who got off work at 5 is still not home at a quarter to 7 now, because she got on the wrong bus, transferred, has no idea where she is and hates Kingston transit. I am patiently awaiting her arrival so that we can have Keg prime rib burgers and beer for dinner.
Yesterday we bought plain white tank tops that we are going to write on with fabric paint for Pride. I booked a 2 star hotel (haha) in Parkdale for the event as well (it's near my ex's and my old apartment, so I hope I don't run into him). It's fast approaching and I can't wait to see my GTA friends and maybe meet a few local peeps from SG
Right now I'm watching The Real Housewives of Vancouver? It's awful....so awful..
Back to work on Monday for another 8 hours of back breaking labour!! Enjoy the rest of your weekend folks.
