Shitty shitty bad bad day.
Woke up in a bad mood, wasn't very nice to the wife, got up and started job hunting online. I didn't get a call from my last interview, so I called them and was informed "the position has been filled". How nice of them to choose a new employee and let me sit around, twiddling my thumbs all day.
What the fuck is wrong with Kingston?! There was a time when I was jobless in Toronto for about 2 months, it was hard, we were poor, and I canvassed the city with resumes all day every fucking day until I found something.
I have been jobless for going on 3 months now in Kingston, and have had 3 interviews and no call-backs beyond that. I have applied to places that needed someone immediately, that were in the process of interviewing, and that weren't planning on hiring for a month or so. But it's been almost 3 months, so where the fuck are my phone calls?
I have an appointment with Ontario Works on the 22nd to try and get government support, since I was fired from my last job and obviously haven't been very successful in finding something else. I feel like crap, my girlfriend and I fight all the goddamned time, and I want to curl up in a ball and die.

I've applied to many places but only two ever let me know I wasn't getting the job. I don't know what to say other than to keep trying and if possible, find something you're not looking for.
