I am very excited today.
I only had a 3 hour long shift at job number 1, so now I am home, and enjoying relaxation time. In 1.5 hours, my gal is going to pick me up, and we are going to Iron Legends so that she can get inked. She's getting a mermaid tattoo. I'm hoping one of the artists there has a style I can work with, because I've been wanting a memorial tattoo for my nanoo for a few years now, and had an artist in mind, but now that I'm no longer in Toronto, it's less feesable to get down there, talk to him, then make an appointment and go back for the actual tattoo.
Tomorrow I have a 4 hour shift at my other job, and then it's my work Christmas party. And after that, we are heading to Ottawa for the day with my new roommate/girlfriend's best friend Leah, so she can see all of their mutual friends before her baby arrives. I have met a lot of her friends, and she has yet to meet more than my besty. I always get nervous and quiet around new people, I hate it.
My mum dropped off Christmas presents for me last weekend, and because I'm terrible at waiting, I opened them all. Most of it was small stuff and chocolate, but I did get an LG 32" LCD television
Can't wait to hook that up!!
Last night my lady sent me a video of herself singing "Nobody Else Will" (which seems to have become sort of 'our song'). It was adorable. I feel very lucky to be able to call her mine.
