Saturdaaaaay!!

This awful week has ended and I couldn't be happier for it.

Yesterday after work, Patrick and I went to look at the triplex I wanted. It was pretty fantastic, but there were a couple of downsides. For example: no banks or supermarkets in the immediate area, annddd we have to give them a deposit of $1,180 when we fill out the application, which is unfortunate because we don't have that much saved yet, and there is only 1 unit for rent. It will probably be gone soon.

Then we called a place down the street from here, who had no vacancies a week ago, but now did. So we went over there and the landlord showed us a vacant place in the building next to the one we wanted (she said we could have our pick of either one, but didn't show us both). That place was a total craphole. Dark hallways, stains everywhere, the apartment itself was not being reno'd yet and we were told it was going to be "cleaned" as opposed to being told they were going to re-paint, re-finish the floors, etc. Major red flag.

So we came home pretty despondant, but then called some friends and went out to Mezzra's on Queen West. Got 2 pitchers and 2 pints each and paid $5 for it, since one of our friend's left early and left us $40, which covered a lot, and another friend whom we'd bumped into on the way there paid for the pints (I think it was because she had a thing for me, especially because it was after we let her know we'd broken up and I was gay).

All in all it was a good night. I'm not hung over today, but for the first time in...ever..Patrick is Hah. I'm going to relax today, as I so deserve to Have a good one guys!!
