Hey you guys...I have some less than exciting news to share. Last night I broke up with my boyfriend of almost 5 years.
I really love him, and he's my best friend, but I can no longer lie to myself about my sexuality, and it isn't fair to hold onto someone who you can't give 100% of yourself to.
Needless to say, he's very distraught. We live together, so, that's awkward right now. But I think he'd be worse if he were completely alone.
Neither of us has the money to get our own seperate places, so as weird as it may be to some, we are thinking of getting a 2 bedroom apartment and living as roommates. It's going to be a struggle for him, but we're just so used to sharing space, it seems kinda logical.
