A friend of mine moved down to New Orleans and I think she may be in some trouble. She has no friends down there and Im worried about her living situation. She was staying at a hostel but now shes living in a terrible apartment with a drunk ex soldier that beats his wife in front of my friend. Anyone have any reliable friends down there that I can get her in touch with?

I may be slightly biased, but I feel I'm pretty reliable (employed, stable, no debilitating substance addictions, not an asshole), so you can introduce her to me if you'd like. There are all kinds of reliable people to meet here in NOLA, despite the city's reputation. Admittedly they're not easy to find, but once she meets one or two she'll quickly meet one or two hundred more.
