Wow. Tons of stuff. A quick recap of the last few days of my life.
~I got my new car! Arrest me red Suburu Impreza Outback Sport.
~I got a job. Go Borders. Ex doesnt work there much anymore So its all good.
~I saw a couple friends that I have not seen in months. These people are my Exs best friend, and my Exs room mate. (Both of which are friends of mine and think my Ex is currently insane. For two reasons: My Ex is getting married. She is treating her roommate badly.)
~I talked my Exs best friend into going to Emergence (it wasnt hard, it basically consisted of me telling her where and when).
They thought that I was going to be pissed about the getting married thing. I was shocked at first, but then I realized I was ecstatic that its not me! I have some things against marriage. Its an antiquated ritual. Feminists used to say that it oppressed women. I think that it oppresses everyone. And the high divorce rate is society just beginning to realize that. We need to seriously rethink marriage as an institution based on the different memes these days. But then Im capable of having alternate relationships so of course I think that the current idea of marriage is too restrictive.
Um lets see what else? This is the last night that Ill really be able to go to Emergence for a while. Ill be able to stop by for an hour or two, but Ill be working the 7:00 to 3:00 shift. So that means Ill start getting sleepy at about 10:00. So it will have to be extra special cool.
Um. I cant remember anything else Ive been having fantasies lately about someone that Ive never even thought of sexually before (I certainly dont love her, any more than friendship). Weird. I think Ill ask her back to my place in the near future. \/evil grin\/ I almost wrote \/weevil grin\/ by mistake. Thats a funny mental image.
