I have just returned from Emergence. And the second night was better than the first. More fun, more women, more mild debauchery.
A friend had asked me why we go there earlier in the night. He was questioning what it was that was so special. The regular crowd we always hand around with, just on a different night. And I can now answer that question. It is because they dont let you behave the way we wish to behave just anywhere. They dont let you say the same things, or wear the same clothes. They dont bite your neck when you want to go up on stage (oh so sharp and fun), and they dont make you walk the plank with the same style and grace.
And you dont get to watch Cowboy Beebop with a bunch of people standing in front of the screen caressing each others necks.
I now crave the feeling of slender fingers, tipped with long black nails, running down the back of my neck. Female hands playing with my hair. \/ shudder \/
