Just got back from Emergence. The Nashua area Goth night at Wolfys bar or something like that. Lots of familiar faces. It was like Manray north. So anyone that drives long ways to go there can go here instead. I must say that the crowd of normals at the place were very accepting. There was much more business in there than usual, so I think they were happy to see us. I was pleasantly surprises to see many people I know, Chazz (not sure of the spelling but thats how its said), Chris, Brendan (also of Borders fame), and the depressed looking girl that I didnt get to meet because we were leaving. I would have talked to you if I had longer, just to cheer you up!
So I would say that it was a solid start. More people that I dont know would be better Particularly of the female variety. But it was interesting to chill with people that I havent seen in a while. And no offense to Tyler, but I was more comfortable there then at Harlows.
Chazz is a regular at Borders, there fore he is relatively familiar with my history. He asked me, So where is that girl that I always see you with. And it actually took me a minute to figure out whom he was talking about. I grinned and replied Oh you mean my ex-girlfriend. Oh, she left me for the other Borders regular, the guy with long hair. The look on his face was pretty good. It was some kind of look of shock and amazement. I thought it was funny, it looses something in the retelling.
And not much else happened because we had to go. Although I noticed that I feel more comfortable in a crowd. I can actually function a bit more. Heres hoping next week is even better.
